Rock of Ages (Musical, Original) opened in New York City Apr 7, 2009 and played through Jan 18, 2015. Jul 14, 2018 - It's a full house of mixed ages in the history-steeped, gloriously refurbished Isaac Theatre Royal. On stage is an orchestra of thirty musicians.
Complete casting is set for the national tour of., the show's original Broadway star, Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis, will reprise his role of Drew as Stacee Jaxx when the tour kicks off in Chicago on September 21. Also joining the cast are Nick Cordero ( The Toxic Avenger) as Dennis, Rebecca Faulkenberry ( High School Musical) as Sherrie, Patrick Lewallen ( Jesus Christ Superstar) as Lonny, Teresa Stanley ( The Color Purple) as Justice, Casey Tuma ( Annie) as Regina, Bret Tuomi ( A Christmas Carol) as Hertz and Travis Walker ( Chess) as Franz. The ensemble will feature Angela Brydon, Joey Calveri, Daniel Luis Domenech, Lindsay Janisse, Sean Jenness, Holly Laurent, Lauralynn McClelland, Rashad Naylor, Josh Sassanella and Erika Shannon. Rock of Ages is set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, where a small town girl meets a big city rocker in L.A.’s most famous rock club. Their love story is told through the hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more. The tour is scheduled to hit cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Dallas, Washington DC and more. The Broadway production of Rock of Ages continues its run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
